2/4/2020 0 Comments I'm done with fake...Today was good, until it went downhill. I don't like feeling like a disappointment. I don't like feeling like a failure. I don't like being taken advantage of over and over. I don't like giving my 100 percent, but isn't appreciative. My family support is important to me. I care too much about other peoples feeling and what they want, but I don't take into consideration with own my feelings. It's hard right now, but i'll get past it. I'm done with fake, lying, unappreciative, lazy and non trust worthy people. I'm also done just being so easily persuaded to do what will make other people happy. I'm going to do what makes me happy. Sometimes I feel all alone. I feel like my opinion doesn't matter. I'm just done with bullshit. I have to find the right path that is best for me. If it means losing contact with the ones I love, then so be it. My family is important to me, but sometimes family makes mistakes too. I know I have this past year, but I don't regret doing what I did. I just regret not having a proper say and standing up for myself. I am sad to not be around the littles that complete my life, but other people and obligations stand in the way. I don't care about putting on a fake smile for fake people. I won't put myself through it anymore. I appreciate of what was given, but all I care about was that I wouldn't be just a person that was there not being taken advantage of. But that is what happened. It's disappointing. I think this is me just venting. But I am just done with it all. I am going to try my best to be positive by not letting the worst or people get to me. I'm to sensitive. Hopefully, I can keep posting this year.
Talk to you soon. Keeks Xx

5/18/2019 1 Comment How to Media CleanseHave you ever felt like you just need a break from social media and technology to better your health? Do you ever find yourself so distracted by your phone that you're not really seeing what life has to offer? Has there been a time when someone has wronged you and you just can't get them out of your head? Has someone gotten angry at you because you're too distracted by your phone and not paying attention to them? If you said yes to one of these questions, then you've come to the right place! In this blog, I will be sharing some tips and tricks to help you become less dependent on your phone, TV and social media accounts. A couple of years ago, I decided to take a few months off social media. I was challenged in my acting class to take 48 hours with no phone, that was very difficult but so liberating! A month later, I took 3 months off social media. It was one of the best times in my life where I felt truly happy. Hopefully this will help you find some peace and happiness when life is bringing you down.
Media Cleansing has many different pathways you can take. I will be focusing on Social Media Cleansing only for today. Everyone has their own methods of planning something and this is one i've done that works. It all depends on the type of person you are! I will give an estimated time frame of how long the cleanse will take. Adjust to your own needs for it might be difficult for some people at first. I also recommend to have a journal to write in everyday or week about the experiences and progress you've made throughout the process. Living in the social media world of today has changed and impacted our lives completely. It is how one person can express themselves to the world, keep in touch with friends and family. For businesses and celebrities, it is advertising of their brand, but brings positives and negatives like Cyberbullying, spam, identity thief, and catfish. How can we better ourselves? Well let's get started! •SOCIAL MEDIA CLEANSE (2-3 Months Recommended) -When you are starting a social media cleanse, you want to first give Notification to those you keep in contact. Post a picture of your departure on both your story and feed. A simple example: "I will be off Social Media for [time frame] because [explain you're reasoning vaguely.]" There is no need to be super specific. Use the exact same picture for all accounts like instagram, facebook, twitter, tumblr, snapchat [If you know you talk to certain people all the time, post to your story and direct message each one so you know they'll see it] -DON'T Delete the app(s) right away! You must give time for people to respond or not. You also have to decide on whether you want to completely get rid of the account or just temporarily sign off it. I recommend temporary. If you want to go back to your account in the future, you won't have to start from scratch. Write down your username(s) and password(s) in your journal, so you don't forget. Log off or Delete the account(s), then delete the app(s) from all your devices. -Once you delete the app(s), the first week is going to be a challenge. You''ll be tempted to constantly look at your phone or devices. The first couple of days you'll even want to download the app(s) again. DON'T! I'm not going to lie i've done that before. It's very difficult to get rid of something thats been in your life for so long. In order to not be tempted, here are a few suggestions to keep yourself busy.
There are other ways to cleanse yourself from the media. Watch less TV, spend less time texting and maybe just call someone instead, spend less time on the internet. It's possible because people have lived without most technology only 2o years ago. Cellphones have been around late 1990s and early 2000s. The Iphone is only less then 15 years old. It will be difficult at first, but it's to help you feel happier. This isn't for everyone. I do encourage you to give it a try, especially if you're reading this right now. Maybe try it for a week and see how you feel. Maybe you know someone who needs this and want to give them the option. Let me know by emailing me how the process is going or if you have any questions. Or Comment on this page. Thank you for reading, Good Luck! -Kiauni Xx 5/14/2019 0 Comments It's been a while...It's been a hot minute since i've posted on here. I haven't had something I really wanted to write about in a long time and I've been so busy with work, school, family and my boyfriend. I'm trying my best to get back in this! This blog is going to be short just because I am working on a piece right now that I will post very soon, either by today or sometime this week! I have been wanting to write this for a while but I really needed to go into details about the topic in order to help you (the readers) understand why it is important. Also, very exciting is my 21st birthday is 5 days away and I am super pumped! I'll make a blog about the day and give some shoutouts to places I recommend going to or doing for a birthday, date night, family time, and celebrations! Keeks signing off. Xx
